Wolcott High School provides educational classes to more than 800 students in grades nine through 12. It provides various courses, such as English, math, science, social studies, language arts, special education, health, physical education, computer technology and business. It has a library that offers a wide range of internet resources, books, magazines and newspapers to stimulate the intellectual development of students and staff. The school offers a wide range of athletic activities, including baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. It has a guidance department that advises parents on the progress of their children through test interpretation, career planning, and academic progress and college placement. The school is operated by the Wolcott School District and is located in Wolcott, Conn.
