Provided by YP.comI've known Dr. Jeffrey Miller and his staff for over thirty [30] years. They are a extremely professional and caring group of doctors, vet techs and office staff. They have several veterinarians which helps when there is an emergency situation. Dr. Miller and his staff have always been kind, gentle and considerate of my extended furry family and I highly recommend them as a family vet. I've called with and without notice when I've stray animals injured on the road to ask if I could bring them in and I've never been turned away. I have had the opportunity to walk through the hospital and it is so clean you could eat off the floors. Nothing is to good for Wolcott Vets patients. I highly recommend Wolcott Vet and Dr. Jeffrey Miller and his staff, and I guarantee you won't be sorry that you brought your pet there.

Provided by YP.comWolcott Veterinary Clinic is an outstanding animal care facility and hospital.
I have been bringing my pets to the Wolcott Vet for over 30 years and they have always given my best buddies the best care. As a matter of fact, my whole family brings the the animals they love to them and everyone raves about the care received.
They put the animals health first and foremost and are very professional. The animals are treated with love, you can tell from the first time you are there.
There was a time, when my little minature poodle was injured and we did not know what was wrong with him. It broke my heart to see him so broken, Dr. Miller was very honest with the prognosis and told me straight up that Remington would most likely not get better, that I could subject him to all kinds of tests and procedures that would have a negative affect on Remi. It was an emotional time and everyone at the clinic was very sensitive to my situation.
All together, with my family, we have had over 20 pets cared for at the Wolcott Vet Clinic and have always been very happy with the care received.
Keep up the great care and loving service!

Provided by YP.comWolcott Vet killed my cat. I brought my cat to Wolcott Vet because she was constipated and lethargic. Doctor Maria Miller could not determine what was wrong with my cat, and recommended that she be kept overnight for an enema and observation. My cat was an indoor cat who had most of her teeth removed a few years ago. Doctor Maria Miller noted that my cat needed an updated rabies shot. Believing that she is a veterinary professional, I consented despite my own personal misgivings at giving a sick animal a vaccine. This morning I received a call from Doctor Maria Miller informing me that my cat had passed away overnight. After the initial shock passed, I googled "Should you give a rabies vaccine to a sick animal?" Immediately, many results were returned indicating that a sick animal should NEVER be given a vaccine. 14 states have laws against vaccinating sick animals. The manufacturers of the vaccines have warnings against vaccinating a sick animal. When I called her back to discuss this, she brushed off my concerns and said 'Oh, All the vaccines say that!" My beloved cat is dead because Doctor Maria Miller was more concerned with being able to bill me for the vaccine than with paying attention to the warning labels. Her excuse was that it is the law to vaccinate a cat, and expressed concern that my gentle, near toothless indoor Maine Coon cat could bite one of her staff or another animal and pass on a disease she did not have. She indicated that possibly something else was going on with my cat and that she was sicker than we first thought. In that case, I feel she should NOT have been vaccinated to add to the cat's stress, and also as I spent much of the morning with the animal, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was not near-death. Constipated, and slightly lethargic yes, but in no way near-death. Once again, Wolcott Veterinary Clinic PC on Center Street in Wolcott, CT KILLED MY CAT. She did not deserve to die.

Provided by YP.comWe have brought our 5 cats for care at The Wolcott Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years. The staff has always been helpful and friendly.
Dr. Miller is not only an outstanding DVM but a great person as well. We would trust them with the lives of our pets without hesitation. There have been times when the dedication of these fine people goes above and beyond that of an ordinary Veterinary clinic. It can be difficult diagnosing animals because they just can't tell us what's wrong. I can't imagine anyone doing much better than this staff. Highly recommended!

Provided by YP.comI have been bringing my cats and dogs to Wolcott Vet since Dr. Miller worked out of his home. Our entire family has trusted
Dr. Miller and his staff to care for our pets just as we do, as if they were like our children, which to us they are to us. The doctors and staff have been there for us through the good times and the bad. I would not take my animals to any other Clinic. Everyone at Wolcott Veterinary are wonderful caring people!!! Thanks for all you have done!

Provided by YP.comMy family has been using this veterinary clinic since it opened, and prior to that we used to see Dr. Miller when he practiced out of the lower level of his home. The staff and services offered here are unparalleled by others. I trust the quality of care my dog and cat receive here and my pets are like my children except they don't talk back. Great place!
