Stopped by for dinner with several friends. The food was out of this world. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor. I absolutely would go there again.

Just had lunch here today. Wish I could have stayed for dinner. The building is "Highland Charming" both inside and out. The Host and our Waitress were full of fun and that was comfortable. There were three of us and each ordered a different entre and we shared a bite with each other. What delicious choices we made. But remember it was lunch. The dinner menu appeared even more enticing. We all tried the smalec and rye bread, luckily I finished any that was left. For true Polish European cuisine I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, (and probably will). I was not only pleased with the food, but by the fact our female companion picked up the check. Ah yes, that is truly a desert to be relished.

If you are looking for 100% authentic Polish food, U Gazdy is the place. It is set in the "highlander" style of Poland (from the region of Zakopane - think US north woods, log cabin style). And the portions are very generous.
