This is my second review..If I could give negative stars I would!!!...All and all I am more upset with myself because I gave Apple bank a second chance... Fact One I was charged $29 fee for an electronic check they returned when the deposit was made in cash on the same banking day to cover said check.. So I should have closed it down then..Yet a bank advisor called and refunded the $29 after I spoke with a customer service representative ( He didn't kinda understand the term customer service). From that point I rarely use this account (like it had $5 in it).. So this week I had my first direct deposit happen. I got gas and paid with a debit card. I made a second purchase online and paid with a debit card. This morning I behold a $29 over draft fee because I didn't have all the funds there.. I have never gotten a NSF fee on a bank debit card. So I found that interesting... I talked with Ms. Brown at 9am this morning. (Let me first say Ms. Brown was professional and well versed in banking compared to the gentleman I encountered before).. However she did say something that got my attention.. That Apple Bank posted items as they are present and thats was why I was charged the NSF in both cases and there is no banking day, nothing is held. Well ok Apple Bank, you CANNOT have it both ways. I used my debit card, I would think
Apple Bank would hold a ledger with the beginning balance, processing and processed transactions. Please remember the is a debit card if the funds are not available the pending charge would be declined. (Right) Even with a $1 auth pending gas purchase transaction. Or did Apple Bank secretly gives me a newly created American Express Debit card with an unlimited balance and that balance must be paid in full by the end of the day. Please hear my warning DON'T bank with Apple Bank and best believe this account will be closed. I will continue to bank with my regular bank, they dont have this foolishness.
