Ikea has its place in the world, but good luck trying to get out of that place. I like the lighting and display set up for the marketplace. It would be fine if that was the only phase of having to go through Ikea. When you incorporate their stock room it just confuses me. Having to identify your number and find it later in the aisles just irritates me. I guess I’m just some old stubborn husband you read about in Cosmo, but I can’t stand it. Their lack of colors to choose from makes it difficult to match what I have in my home, so then I have to bumble around Home Depot to find the right color paint or stain. Oh boy, another adventure ensues at that point. There are redeeming qualities about Ikea. The design of most of the furniture and appliances there are quite pleasing. Nothing too abstract or outlandish sticks out in my mind when I think of their products. The prices of everything are well within reason, which always makes me happy. If I ever get too frustrated being inside that place, then I can always go stress eat at the café. Overall Ikea is an O.K. place.
