I have traveled with them before on a cruise. This time we booked a trip through them and Apple vacations and stayed an entire week in St. Maarten. We paid for transfers to and from the airport. They told us to look for the apple representatives in the flower shirts. No one was wearing flower shirts. Took us asking 10 people before we found our transfer. We checked in to the resort. They did not warn us about the $300 charge to my card for incidentals. I am glad I brought my credit card. I know this is normal for a hotel but $300 was alot. They did not warn us that since we were doing all inclusive we would have to wear green plastic wrist bands all week that you can not take off even to shower. We were told there would be an apple representative at the resort every day to help us book excursions. When we checked in we asked the hotel and they had never heard of apple Vacations. We waiting 2 days and emailed our travel agent and she stated there was no apple representative on this island. We could not believe it. We did not book anything for 3 days because they were supposed to help us. The travel agent said to just use who was at the resort. That is not what we were told and we wasted 3 days waiting for a representative. Our travel agent told us she would work with us when we get home about compensation. We did not let it ruin our trip. After the problems at the airport with our transfer we did not even wait to see if they would pick us up to take us back. I did not trust anything they said at this point. We took a taxi. When we got home so far the only compensation we have been offered if the cab ride back to the airport which was $20. I will never use these guys again and I will make sure all of my friends do not either.
