Sunday, September 11, 2016 was my first visit at Bethany Baptist Church. I was welcomed with open-arms and handshakes of love. All the people were friendly and I felt at home right away. I was truly blessed by the Spirit of God during the worship and praise service. Rev. McBride's message was encouraging and uplifting. It was so amazing that the first song, by the special guest, was one of my favorites 'The Anchor Holds.' The dinner on the grounds was fantastic, with all kinds of delicious food! I met and talked with a lot of wonderful people. I feel like I have known them all forever. May God richly bless all the people of Bethany Baptist Church in Woodford, VA.
