Founded in 1925, AlWood Middle-High School is a part of AlWood Community Unit School District 225. The school s curriculum includes art, English, business, math, social studies, and special and physical education. AlWood Middle-High School also provides classes in agriculture, Spanish, music and industrial arts. The school maintains a library and cafeteria. It offers opportunities to participate in sports activities, such as football, golf, volleyball, cheerleading, softball, baseball and basketball.
