This place is obviously not maintained and has moldy hay everywhere. The website photos are VERY old and not accurate. The business is not insured!! Ask for proof of insurance if you think about booking, and go check out the place first!

Terrible place with used and abused horses. Janie allows her kids to ride lame ponies, the stalls are terrible, lack bedding, and are full of poop late into the day. She uses her children, bad people, and unsuspecting volunteers (paid for with horse riding) to run the barn. This is not a place any law abiding person wants to go, let alone with their children. A lot of the good reviews online are placed by the owners, including ones that say what a "blast" the place is and how well the place has turned around.Janie's game is lie, manipulate, make excuses, deny, delay, seek empathy, and then avoid, all so she can make a buck off the community renting things that are not in usable condition. Instead of fixing major and minor things, she buys more horses and properties in the area, and continues to scam people. It is bad people, and a bad place. She takes advantage of folks not having the time to go after her for their money. There is a reason she demands appointments before viewing, and freaks out on people who come without notice. She lives across the street so is always nearby. According to her, the city shut down the bathroom building on the horse property, so it isn't "broken" like she has told people. Janie has involved herself in a great deal of false advertising, and one day her scamming of the community will ruin her.

I will try to stay unemotional because I want to write a helpful, accurate review, but the truth is that I am very sad because I really wanted this place to be awesome. The nicest way to put it is it was not as advertised. Advertised: 2 Bounce Houses What we got: 1 dirty, falling apart bounce house (Honestly, the kids didn't care.) Advertised: 2 pony handlers What we got: two children barely older than some of the kids attending our party holding onto/leading the ponies with a distracted and sometimes disappearing party hostess (teenager) to assist them in the event that a pony incident arises. Advertised: Ping Pong What we got: No sign of a ping pong table or offer of one to play on. Overall, it was dirty and run-down, which wouldn't have even bothered me as much had they handled an incident with one of the ponies better. Animals and kids are unpredictable I realize, but that is why two children should not be in charge of walking the ponies. (I won't even get into the potential child labor issues here.) Unfortunately, we did have an incident where the ponies were spooked and started to run causing one of the children to fall from the pony he was riding. Luckily, he only suffered some minor scraping and bruising. However, it was traumatic enough for the other 14 kids that everyone felt better having the ponies returned to their stables. The girls tried to calm the ponies. However, by themselves at eight or nine years old, there wasn't much they could do. An adult would know that you attend to the potentially injured rider before making excuses for the ponies' behavior and the lack of supervision for the ponies. In the end, we got half the amount of pony time, half the number of bounce houses, and were asked to leave the property because we had the nerve to point out that things weren't as advertised.Again, emotions are obviously a little high. It could have been a great experience for my daughter and her friends on her fifth birthday, but the day turned out to be mostly frustrating, embarrassing, and sad.

Had a HORRIBLE (understatement) experience here! I booked 4 private horse/pony rides for mine & my daughters birthday in early Sept. I verified multiple times, with the handler what I wanted...each of us on our own horse/pony, to ride outside & do more than just a slow walk. I got none of that! First, we only had 3 horses/ponies, when asked why, I was given numerous excuses that made no sense. Second, we were given NO direction on how to ride, just put in a dark dirt arena(by ourselves sometimes) to walk in circles for 1 hour, not fun at all! Third, no waivers were signed & I was told none of us needed to wear helmets, even my 5 & 6 year old. Of course I made them wear helmets, but I am appalled by their lack of safety. Inexperienced riders should NEVER be left alone with horses nor should they NOT wear helmets! Lastly, the handler did NOTHING. She struggled to even saddle the horses/ponies on her own & needed help. She then sat on a chair & didn't speak a word to us the entire time

We attended a birthday party for a neighbor of ours at the Pony Paradise facility recently. Considering that it's been raining on and off for the past week, I can not understand why someone else would be complaining about mud on a working horse farm. Personally, my experience there was wonderful. Our son really enjoyed himself and had a blast riding the ponies. Given the fact that it was raining, the people that were running the party moved the rides to the indoor arena so that no one would get wet.Yes the things around there are a little old and it would use a coat of paint to spruce things up but overall, as far as the enjoyment my son and the rest of the kids had can't be beat. He's still talking about riding his first pony. The staff was wonderful and very courteous, they did everything they could to make sure we had an enjoyable time and we did. My son will be having his next birthday party at Pony paradise.

We live in one of the wettest states in our nation. A barn needs to be prepared for this and give their animals good firm, non muddy footing. Paradise Ponies doesn't care. Their ponies are treated like poor workers that are there to make money for the owner and nothing else. Do yourself a favor and do not attend a party at this barn AND spread the word!

I attended a pony party at Pony Paradise Rides last year. It was not a good experiance. This past weekend pony paradise opened there doors for a family fun day and we stopped in for a pony ride. WOW!! What a change. They had the bouncy house, goats, a covered wagon ride, smores on the camp fire and a 15 minute ride all for $10.00!! The ponys were health, the staff was very friendly, and the place was super clean. Folks, before you shoot this place down like I almost did, take another look. This place has done a total 180..I will be going there again:)

The ponies are depressed, they live in a foot of muddy and urine, their hooves are overgrown and cracked and their feces are infested with worms! All of these problems are fixable yet... they aren't...Place is unsanitary for animals and people alike... I recommend somewhere else!!!

This place is disgusting to have a party. There are no hand washing stations, the tent is falling apart, the field is full of manure and the pond looks like a trash bin. The girls there are gross, looking like they have not showered in weeks and they seemed high or intoxicated. The ponies are in very poor condition and look like they could use some attention. When you walk into the tent you basically walk right in the manure that is all over the path and since it had been raining, there were huge pools of water all over making it impossible to stay clean, dry and sanitary! This is a sad and terrible place to take your children! I will never be seen there again with mine!!

Disgruntled employees need to go find new jobs instead of attacking their previous employers. There is a reason you were fired. Good luck!

The ponies are kept in horrible conditions a small paddock that is all muddy and their stall is so dirty full of poop they cant lay down. Do not give them your business, they are horrible. My kid was bucked off one of their ponies, they put chains on them when they are leading them.... wow made me feel safe. I really wish i could rescue all these ponies, they deserve better.DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU GO HERE, I RECOMMEND SEATTLE PONY PARTY THEY ARE CLEAN, NICE AND FUN!

if you are seeking a magical place to host your child's birthday event, keep looking. This place is horrible. The staff is rude and intoxicated and the poor little ponies need some days off and love. They live in a tiny little pasture with no dry footing and no grass and they all look like they have lived in abused life. The tent they provide is a far cry from pretty and the trail they walk the ponies on is nothing but an overgrown grass field with a busy road on side and 522 behind it. Ontop of this the customer service is just a joke and the woman who owns and operates this business is unstable. If you choose to host your event here and it turns out terrible don't say you werent' warned!
