Woodland Public Works Department, located in Woodland, Calif., provides transportation systems and utilities for the operation and maintenance of the city's infrastructure. The department's operation and maintenance division is responsible for the maintenance of infrastructure, fleet and facilities, as well as environmental operations. Its infrastructure branch operates street systems, including signs, markings, sidewalks, gutters, street trees, parking lots, traffic signals and streetlights. The fleet and facilities maintenance branch administers municipal garage, as well as maintains vehicles and equipment and emergency generator sites. It also maintains city s facilities, including city hall, police facility, fire stations, pools, library and municipal services center. The environmental operations branch controls the water pollution control facility and offers environmental programs.
