Absolutely Exceptional Veterinary Clinic!



Love Creature Comforts Caring Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Meyerhoff!!!! So glad I found her handing out info and other stuff at the dog park! The Dr. is so educated, caring, and personable, and she always makes sure I know exactly what is going on with my pets.



My dogs always used to be terrified of going to the Vet and would always bite(fear-biters). But now that we visit Dr. Meyerhoff, all of my dogs are happy as clams and healthy as horses! (And they've never tried to bite the Dr. once!!!)



This Clinic is so calm and peaceful and I always know that my dogs are in good hands when they visit the Dr. I recommend visiting this clinic to everyone!!!

I cannot even believe how fantastic Creature Comforts is! I am so grateful I found Dr. Meyerhoff! She is always so caring, friendly, and compassionate toward my pets and myself, as well as toward the other clients/pets I see come in when I'm there. My friends, acquaintances, pets and I all adore her and her clinic. Everyone just seems so at ease(pets included) there! Its such an absolutely wonderful experience! All of my pets are always treated with the utmost care and attention; the doctor and her staff are always loving towards them, just like they were their own babies! Which I can really appreciate after visiting so many other vets who only cared about the money, not the pets. I am glad to say it is exactly the opposite at this clinic. Everything is always so affordable in comparison to other hospitals/clinics, and they go out of their way to provide the best care for every pet.



The doctor's ability to diagnose my pets' was incredible, especially my cat's rare skin disease which had been previously misdiagnosed by other vets multiple times. She went through so many medical text books and consulted with so many specialists from all over the country! She put so much time and care into finding the proper diagnosis and treatment of my baby, it was AMAZING! He is doing so remarkably now, I can't even believe its the same cat! Dr. Meyerhoff is simply a miracle worker!



I have no idea what I would do without Janet. Thanks to her all of my babies have found and maintained their health and well-being. I have brought, and will continue to bring, all my pets to her, and I highly recommend Creature Comforts to everyone.

I love Dr. Meyerhoff and Creature Comforts Caring Veterinary Clinic! The name really says it all!!! The doctor and her staff really care about all of my cats. They make sure all of my cats are HEALTHY, LOVED and HAPPY. Who else does that?



Dr. Meyerhoff treats all of my pets with the GREATEST care and love. Her heart is ALWAYS in everything she does.



4 years back, my cat BW got very sick, and I had no idea why. He lost so much weight and stopped eating and started crying out. It all happened so fast. He went from my happy, healthy boy to this sad cat. I went to a vet, who I won't name here, who told me my cat was too sick and old. No other explanation. This other vet gave my precious BW only 6 weeks to live, at the most! I was absolutely heartbroken. How could that be it for my BW? "Only 6weeks, maybe less"? I cried for days.



I went to Dr. Meyerhoff for a second opinion, thank God. She wouldn't settle for the idea that my cat had such a short time left. After a few tests,the doctor diagnosed him with Acute Renal Failure and a few other things that the other vet had COMPLETELY missed. She found out exactly what medicines would work. She even gave him special food and some herbal remedies.



The change was just WOW!!! My BW was his old self again! He was happy and healthy and put all of his weight back on. He had a glow in his eyes again.



Dr. Meyerhoff gave my BW THREE EXTRA YEARS of life, much more that the "Only 6weeks, maybe less" the other vet had given him, and I think those were the BEST years of his life.



I really don't understand what the people who said bad things about the doctor are saying or thinking. It was NEVER, and NEVER is, about the money with Dr. Meyerhoff. She made everything VERY affordable and only did tests that were NEEDED. Those tests and the doctor's knowledge saved my BW's life. She ALWAYS only cared about my cat's health and happiness and safety. She did everything in her power and more to take care of my BW and other cats. I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to her.



I really hope you go visit Dr. Meyerhoff at her clinic! You will only find LOVE and CARE for all of your pets, like countless others and myself have. You can DEFINITELY trust Dr. Meyerhoff and her staff with your pets' health and happiness.

Dr. Meyerhoff is the GREATEST. She is a very caring person and veterinarian. She truely loves her patients. She handles each one with gentleness , kindness and patients. Her staff is wonderful with the pets too. She treats birds, rabbits, lizards, monkeys, rats, turtles, and other types of animals besides cats and dogs. I have recommended many friends to her, and they all love her too. She has SAVED many of my animals that other veterinarians have misdiagmnosed. I have been using her for many years and will continuie to do so.

Deserves to have her license revoked! Meyerhoff comes up with all kinds of insane diagnoses so that she can charge for lots of unnecessary drugs, tests, and surgery! She does not care about the health & welfare of your pet, she's only in it for the money. Do not trust your babies with her!

Loved Dr Meyerhoff. she was caring and patient with our new rescue dog. SHe wasn't pushy and didn't have us take all sorts of expensive and un-needed tests. Thankfully our dog is healthy and hasn't need to go back yet, but when it is the, we sure will!

Dr. Meyerhoff has been my dog's vet for years - long before she opened Creature Comforts. I appreciate that not everyone will feel as strongly, but as for me I can say that she literally saved my dog's life. More than once. She has been compassionate, caring, diligent, reassuring. I'm disappointed everyone has not experienced the fantastic veterinarian that she is: I was so grateful to have found her again after she shifted her practice west. It was comforting to know that my dog was being operated on by a vet who has spent the night at her hospital, who goes to such extraordinary lengths to care for sick and damaged animals, who extends herself professionally again and again in profound ways. I would recommend her to anyone in search of a great and caring veterinarian.

Dr Meyerhoff is the most caring and wonderful Vet I have ever been to. She takes the time to completely examine and test each animal she tends to. Every time I go to their office I leave feeling glad that she and her staff are there. She has literally saved some of my pet's lives.

It sound to me like this person was having a very bad day and took it out on this office. I hope for their sake they are doing better!

I whole heartedly recommend Creature Comforts to all people who actually care about their animals health.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I have always had very positive experiences with vets and actually look forward to getting great care and a high level of professionalism from my previous vets. I'm new to the area so I was referred to Creatures of Comfort and had such a positive experience with Petrock who referred me over there so I thought it would be great.



Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. I arrived 20 minutes early and they did not have any of the paperwork for my dog then after waiting for 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I asked if Dr. Meyerhoff would be ready soon considering she had one other room and she was walking around while her tech was finishing up with that puppy and she was doing nothing. By the way, while I was waiting, they kept the door open as they were torturing a puppy yorkie and it was screaming and yelping then Dr. Meyerhoff walked out laughing along with one of her front office personnel stating "she does not like needles." Another woman waiting also could not handle the screaming of the puppy. This other woman did not have an appointment and Dr. Meyerhoff attended to her while ignoring the fact that I had a scheduled appointment.



She also stated she did not want 30 pages of paperwork faxed over although she would be by new vet and needed the complete medical history of 2 dogs. This was concerning for me. She did not want to be bothered with having the correct documentation and vocalized very rudely that she did not want it faxed.



Then after still not acknowledging me or my one dog waiting for the appointment she goes to a back room and reads my dogs chart loud and is stating information that was NOT on my dogs chart like "glaucoma of the left eye" when she does NOT have glaucoma of the left eye. She had dry eye and surgery done in the right eye. So, when I simply heard this wrong information, I asked if she would mind reviewing the chart in a room with me and my dog. Then she comes storming out and yells at me because she is reading the chart and blames me for not calling them to see if they have the paperwork when I was told by the person who scheduled the appointment that all the paperwork was there. What VET yells at a customer and blames the customer? She blamed me that the paperwork was not there and their office never told me that they did not have it. I was told that they had everything. I have never had a problem with any Vet and certainly was blind sided by this wretched Vet.



After some back and forth arguing about the paperwork she goes back and "reads" the chart. I decided to leave and asked for my paperwork back. When I went to the back room she was not even reading the chart and had some book open like she was a vet medical student. My dog has dry eye and had surgery. It's not that difficult and should not be that difficult to an experienced Vet but I question her experience. She does not know what she is doing and this place should be shut down.

I would NEVER recommend some bring any living or dead animal to this place



She was horrible and clearly does not have the proper training to be a vet.

I finally found a great vet. the doctor and staff give off good vibes and they genuinely care for the animals. soon as you walk in you are greeted with warm smiles by the friendly staff. I am very pleased with the visit all around. the doctor was great and answered every question i had and the cost was low. I recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets.

I love this place! I'm so glad that I met Dr. Meyerhoff. She is so compassionate to all my pets. This is the only place that my pet has not been nervous in. Dr Meyerhoff and staff give off such a welcoming vibe.

I reccommend this place to anyone. Once again I love this place.
