I have bought and sold several houses in my life. This escrow office is absolutely the worst escrow company I have come across. The house was closed two months ago but we have yet to receive the final closing check. The HOA was not communicated and so the property HOA has absolutely no idea even after two months that the property has been already sold. I am sure I will have to pay fines and fees to delayed payment when the papers are in order. But, I do not know how I will resolve the issue and how I will fix it. The escrow office was never on time regarding delivery of the documents. Abigail and her manager Michelle Budd both are very unprofessional and not worthy of being called escrow officers. They would simply ignore the phone call and emails. The home insurance company was kept in limbo because they could not receive the property documents. The bank had very hard time getting hold of anyone in the escrow office to receive the closing documents. When the escrow agent, Abigail, called us to sign the papers, she made us wait two hours because she was not ready. She could not spell simple things. The list goes on and on. Do not hire this company for your escrow service. Michelle Budd hung up on me after a few minutes of conversation because I happen to call her on her cell phone. However, that was the only phone number listed in her email signature file. So, I did not know that she did not like to receive the call on that number. As I said earlier, this is absolutely the worst escrow office I have come across.
