Parkinson Insurance Agents and Brokers was first founded in 1956 by Harvey Parkinson.  A World War II veteran and UCLA graduate, Harvey purchased his agency from Vern House. His agency was located on Sherman Way in Canoga Park for years. Later after his son Garrett came on board, the agency moved to Calabasas and then Agoura Hills, where the agency stayed for 20 years.   Harvey retired in 2006 and later passed away in 2010.  In 2012 Garrett moved the agency back to the San Fernando valley and now operates out of Woodland Hills. Parkinson Insurance Agents and Brokers is a full service Personal Lines agency.  We offer coverage for your autos, homes, rental properties, valuable items, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, boats and personal watercraft.  In addition, we offer umbrella policies, and coverage for earthquake and flood.  All of our employees are licensed and can answer most of your questions, the really tough ones going to Garrett.  We are fully automated and can bind most policies over the phone with a credit card and a faxed or emailed application.
