- I specialize in teaching people how to drive manual transmission/stick shift vehicles. I have been driving a stick shift vehicle since 1999 and have driven over 150,000 in manual transmission vehicles while instructing clients since 2008. Let's face it, on your own it can be a pretty daunting and scary task trying to figure out the clutch without stalling your car a dozen times. Besides, how many people do you know who'd lend their car and teach you step by step? You can rest assured that when you come to Quick and Easy Stick Shift Lessons, we will do our absolute best to make it easy on you. We teach and practice on a safe lot and if/whenever you feel comfortable we can drive on surface streets. Call for an appointment. Flexible hours available.

About my local rates*: *$35 p/hr. - hourly course for whether you want to pay as you go or just need a quick refresher course *$180 (6 hr pkg.) -Engaging the car into 1st gear (off surface streets) -Engaging into 2nd-5th gears on small streets. -Driving in reverse and 3-pnt turns-Head-in and parallel parking -Uphill driving in gear skills -Extra time to drive and fine tune your skills *Gift certificates also available in any amount for a friend or loved one.Please specify which pkg. you want BEFORE starting.
