We have used Tunex in Bountiful, Utah for 20 years and can't imagine ever switching. They have proven their honesty, expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile over and over again. Their prices are also competative. There have even been many times when we have sought their help for minor problems and they have refused to charge us. We highly recommend them to all our family and our friends.

I took my car in Friday number one my check engine light is on and flashing I have been chaning the O2 sensors myself for that is what the codes have been coming back that needs to be replaced but my car has also been running really ruff and like cutting out so I asked the tech if they could look at and figure out why They have been great they checked all my coils and plugs and they seem to be fine they did change one plug that had a hair line crack in it and didnt even charge me they told me if that didnt fix the problem to bring it back and so I did they dont seem to be taking me for a ride and doing guess work like the tunex in Murray did the tunex in murray took me for 253 dollars and didnt fix my car these guys out here in Bountiful seem to know what they are doing and will not just do guess work and charge you for guess work Im still waiting today to hear and find out what is wrong with my car and see if it cant be fixed im a hoping and hoping it isnt something to major but I just have to say so far with the service i have been getting so far im very pleased and trust me if all goes good like it has been this will become my shop that i take any of my cars too :)

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.....My brakes and starter were replaced at a fair price and they even gave me a ride back to my house so I wouldn't have to wait at the shop. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

What a joke!! This guy didnt know anything other than the item of the month he was selling for his commission!



So Im selling a car and the check engine light came on the buyer and I decide to take it to tunex to check out the light, instead of coming and checking the light like a good little lube tech, this guy peeked out the window (I dont think he even looked at my car) and started going off at what a bad brand of car this was, he didnt ask what price they are buying it at, didnt see if there were any problems, just proceeded to talk my buyers out of buying my car due to the fact he didnt like the name!



Then when I finally shut him up and convinced him to come look at the light he goes well I think it needs a new timing belt (didnt even look at the current one in the car) come see my display inside I will tell you why you need one! Hey stupid, the timing belt is fine, tell us why the light is on and stop working for that little extra commission!



I did take the car to a REAL mechanic and he said this guy knows nothing! All he was interested in was his item of the month to sale and sale the most of it. My car was perfectly fine, and the know it all lube tech lost my sale. NEVER
