Do not come here!! You are better off spending a little more money and going somewhere else where they will take care of you and do a good job. I had 3 ladies tugging and blow drying my hair at once. It was the most painful experience ever. I wanted to walk out but didn't want to put the first 3 hours of pain to waste without competing the process. During the last step I asked the lady if she could be more gentle. She heard my request and started brushing me even more violently. This is the worst hair experience ever. They do not care about you and hurt you on purpose. I've lost so much hair now.

I've always had my hair done at hair village and got amazing results. This year I went across the street to the spa. After they did the treatment this man comes over to blowdryer and brush my hair really hard and rough...you can tell he has no experience and handled my hair in a very damaging manner. As i looked in the mirror I can see that chunks of my hair had broken. My hair looked dryer than usual and felt really rough. I kept looking in the mirror and saw that all my hair was uneven and alot was falling out in chunks. At that time I was in denial I just couldn't believe it..I thought maybe it wasn't that bad. Thought it was me. But after I went back home to Florida my hair wouldn't stop breaking. My hair is completely broken some parts up to my ears and some parts long. I'm upset because they were very dishonest when analyzing my hair. If my hair was not healthy enough to withstand the Japanese straightning they shouldve told me and passed on the service. Instead they wanted my money and didn't care whether my hair could possibly get more damaged. I knew my hair was damaged because of a supposely keratin treatment done to it in miami. So I went to hair village spa to have them look at it and fix it. Not to lie to me and tell me sure your hair is fine let's do the Japanese. The Japanese has always kept my hair healthy and I never had issues but you have to have healthy hair to do it. If you have fragile hair or had a bad job done it you can not do japanese. First moisturize alot and grow it and get it healthy again THEN do japanese. I'm now putting mayonnaise treatment in My hair and trying to repair the damages on my own through home remedies like mayo and avocado and honey

I'm from Florida and my husba...

I'm from Florida and my husbands family is from New Jersey. A few years ago, I had my hair done at across the street (Hair Village) and was very satisfied with the results. This year I went back to New Jersey and I asked my husband to take me there again. I called the Hair Village to check their schedule and they told me that they are open 07 day a week. To avoid the traffic,my husband decided to go Sunday and It was BIG Mistake, because Sunday the hair Village was closed (The one I had my hair done at before), but the lady told me to go across the street to the Hair Village and Spa at 62-25 Roosevelt Ave. She guaranteed the same results and that it was the same owner. What a bunch of BS! I got there 8:00am Sunday and at 11:30am when I had my hair dried for the first iron straightening , I felt my hair totally curly underneath. The lady that started ironing my hair in the back called the manager named Cassimere and started to talk in Korean about my hair. I figured out that somenthing was wrong. I asked her if everything was ok with my hair and if the roots were straight, and she answered me, yes your roots are very strong!. Well I went through all the process during 03:30 hours. Finally after they washed my hair for the last blow dry. The other lady called the manager again and told her that the product DIDN''T work in my hair and we had to do it all over again. I had a family Birthday party to go to at 4:00 and the manager promised me that it'll take only a few more hours. It Took 3 more hours. Well, I thought that for the second time it'll work, right? I waited three day to wash my hair and I was already back home in Florida. Guess what? my hair was all curly again! I was so upset, I called the manager and I told her that the least she could do was to refund my money that I paid on my credit card. The manager told that she couldn't return my money before she saw my hair! That was impossible because I was already back in Florida. Results: I wasted my vacation time, my money, and on top of that I had breakage in my hair. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! BE VERY LEARY OF THIS BUSINESS! SHODDY WORK AND BAD MANAGEMENT!
