Provided by YP.comHorrible, feels like a cattle call. I've yet to find a dermatologist office that treats me like they care at all. I'm not sure if they skip that part in medical school for these doctors or what.
Just received a call to tell me my account was sent to collections for $40 that I did not even know I owed because they messed up my address. I corrected the address, they sent the bill but apparently already sent it to collections. When they called to confirm my appointment tomorrow, I was explaining the situation to the person who called and she transferred me. Nothing was said, or if it was, it was while I was trying to explain so that I could get clarification.
I left a message for the person I was transferred to and called back to talk to the first person again to make sure the status of my appointment the next day. I explained that I thought it was rude of her to transfer me without saying anything. She insisted she said she would transfer me and then proceeded to speak very condescendingly to me stating "I'm sorry ma'am, there is that better?" I told her I would not be coming back.
Horrible. I will not be going back ever to this company and will be advising my GP, who referred me, of this experience.

Provided by YP.comT.J. Chao provides excellent care. He is a first rate Dermatologist. When I found out he is a national thought leader in the area of psoriasis, I sent my afflicted family to him. He helped my cousin completely clear her plaques after I sent her there. My uncle is also doing really well and has no more joint pain. It was simply amazing. He also found a skin cancer that I had no idea about. He saved my life!

Provided by YP.comI went here with a previously diagnosed and 9 years successfully treated chronic condition that I will have to medicate for the rest of my life. All I needed was a refill of the cream or ointment that I have used for 9 years without any issue what so ever but every single time some new dermatologist wants to change my meds to something as effective as and umbrella in a hurricane I have a massive, painful break-out that will not relent to any other medication except the one I have used for 9 yrs. I told her this. Still she took an issue with my medication and refused to prescribe the same medication that I have never ever had a problem with in 9 yrs, and gave me something else, which did not even almost work, I had a searing rash as a result and looked like I had been scratched by a tiger. I had to go to another doctor to get the requested medication, but I still had to pay Atlanta North Dermatology $150......and for what??? Causing me to go into stage 4 breakout mode on my FACE, miss my class reunion (I would have been humiliated to show up with the giant cat scratch streaks on my face). The reason the doc at atlanta north objected to the medication I used for 9 years without issue? Long term use could thin my skin. Really??? After 9 yrs, I think if there were going to be any adverse effects they would be observed my now. Additionally doctors are supposed to be able to do risk assessments - is the benefit greater than the risk the medication **COULD** present? If she had LISTENED to what I told her, along with her own observations of my skin from her exam, the answer would have been hands down, YES the benefit, in my case, does outweigh the risk. Will NEVER go back to this doctor. NEVER.

All my questions were answered everything was explained to me in detail and they even called my rx into my pharmacy to have it waiting on my by the time I left for pick up.
