Provided by YP.comVery honest. I had three companies come over to tell me the furnace needed to be replaced. The gentlemen at this company were fast, efficient and made me feel comfortable having them in my home.

Provided by YP.comI called Fox Heating and Air on a Sunday afternoon to set up an appointment for Monday. I wanted to leave a message; however, my phone call was answered and a nice young man named James showed up and found a leak in less than 5 minutes, took a torch out and sealed it, and filled me up with antifreeze. My system was cooling 30 minutes after he arrived. I like the answer he gave me when I asked if I needed a new air conditioner, We would rather fix it than replace it for you, it costs less. This company is honest and reliable. My sister has used them since, and is also delited by the professionalism displayed. Thank you Fox Heating and Air. You will service my units for life.

Provided by YP.comThank you for your honesty. We had 7 different companies over to give my husband and I quotes for a new air conditioning system. My neighbor told us to call Fox Heating and Air before we made a decision on what we were going to do. We were pleased to meet Robert, who took the time to find out our questions about how the old system operated before just telling us how much. We have allergy issues, and our doctor felt as though we may also have a sick house adding to our y the coil for extra protection.problems. Robert recommended a special furnace that was recommended by the manufacturer for our situation, and then went over the different types of filters we could choose from. We chose the electric filter that sounds like a bug zapper when you walk by it in the basement. It is very impressive. We also opted for the uv light to be placed by the coil for extra protection. Our furnace now looks like a spaceship, with no DUST. I cannot believe the difference in my house. The complete system took them 4 hours to install and test. The installers were tidy and clean. This company performed like you would expect a first class, highly referred bunch of guys to perform. I will recommend this company to anyone elderly, and in need of expert opinions regarding any air conditioning problems. Thanks again Fox for all of your help.

Provided by YP.comWe entrusted this company to service our HVAC-- replaced a transformer and repaired wiring for $350. The problem persisted, and James Maxwell, the president, refused to honor the one-year warranty. He sent out a technician who couldn't get the system to work, yet requested another $285 to repair what he described as a new problem -- the contactor on the outside Goodman unit (1.5 years new). We advised Fox of the second opinion we got from another licensed and insured HVAC company. The problem stemmed from Fox's tech tripping (sabotaging) the wires. He had left wires hanging everywhere and the furnace door lying on the attic floor. I contacted James about the problem with his tech and got his annoying inappropriate laughter, followed by a dial tone. I left it at that -- wasn't in the mood for battle.
A few days later, my husband contacted James and told him what the competitor had said about his tech tripping up the wires. He decided to personally come out and check the system. He returned from the attic and stated he mistakenly blew a fuse on the board when he attempted to connect the wires left detached by his tech. He said he might have a contactor in his truck to do the repair, but returned from outside saying he could not locate one. He apologized for his tech's poor work and insulted his own techs saying, “These guys I hire are hillbillies, seasonal workers who do landscaping the rest of the year. They’re uneducated high school dropouts who wouldn’t get decent jobs anywhere else to feed their families.” He promised he'd send a trained tech out – one of the best -- to replace the fuse (he blew) and repair the system. He even got down on his knees pleading with us to trust him. He said, “The tech will be by after his current job.”
An hour and a half later, approximately 3 pm, my husband called James to get an update. He stated a tech would be by soon. At 8 pm (5 hours later), we contacted James again and got Mr. Hyde, "I'm not sending anyone out," he yelled, and continued without letting us get a word in. Then came the dial tone, which seemed to be his signature way of addressing issues.
We wrote a letter to Fox Heating and Air and decided to drop it off at the business address on our receipt 104-A Condor Ct, Woodstock, GA 30188. It turned out the A was nothing more than James' garage. The business is run from his home, not from an office park as he represented. Moments later, we received a call from James. He hadn’t call to address the problem, instead called us “clowns,” laughing inappropriate and shouting for no apparent reason. He went on to say "sue me" I'll have my tech and his four kids in court to testify against you." What was this guy on?
Solution: First, Fox Heating & Air should hire licensed and trained technicians. Second, they should have honored the warranty and repaired the persisting problem with courtesy and professionalism. Third, the owner, James, should take a course on proper customer satisfaction and how to resolve service issues. He also needs an attitude adjustment. Had he properly handled the matter, he could have avoided being reported to the BBB and facing a civil suit.
I do not recommend this company.
We had to sue this customer and won in court. This is an office park address. These people are nuts. They filed bankruptcy on our judgment. Rats chewed through their 24 volt wire, causing the transformer to blow. We do not warrant against RATS> So sorry.
