Cockroach cooked in food!!! Several tables sat uncleared!! Disgusting!
Listen, my whole family has frequented this restaurant for years & have never had a problem. Food, people, atmosphere has been fine. But I was shocked at what I walked into this past Sunday. It had been awhile since I had been inside the restaurant and if I had never been there before I would have turned around and left because of how unclean it looked. There was "Stuff" everywhere piled up, like bags, boxes, even IN the soda freezer. It wasn't busy. Only about 3 tables w people and yet we sat there surrounded by 2 large tables covered by filthy, stinking, disgusting dishes and food throughout our whole dining experience! That leads me to wonder how long they had even been sitting there. No excuse to not clear those tables away real quick. Then I started thinking if it is this unclean, unorganized where the patrons are, what is it like in the kitchen where the FOOD is being prepared? I took my leftovers home, went to warm them up the next day and there it was, my suspicions realized... no doubt about it... a cockroach clearly cooked with the food: legs, antennas, body, black... I had cashew chicken, nothing in my order was supposed to look like THAT! Unacceptable. I know things can happen in restaurants but it is unacceptable to not put effort into keeping your place clean. Will not be going back.

I usually order from Songs Garden in Townelake. however they are closed on Mondays. My family and I decided to try Peking & Tokyo. Worst decision ever. We order Fried Chicken Wings, which were greasy! Egg Roll was horrible and Vegetable Fried Rice. The Fried Rice was if someone threw stall rice and old veggies and mixed them. This my first and last time I would ever order from this place. Please do yourself a favor and avoid!
