Towards the end of last season the Honda mower started to surge, which usually indicates that it needs a carburetor cleaning, rebuild or replacement. When I brought it to Walker's I pointed out that it was surging and that they need to check the carburetor for blockage.

When I picked it up I was charged an additional $70 dollars and was told that was the standard rate. I was additionally told it was no longer surging. I also notice it was stored outside, something I never do because of the frequent rain in GA. I paid it and took the mower home.

Last week I attempted to use the mower for the first time. During my normal startup checks I noticed I had no oil on the dip stick - strike one, I added oil and proceeded to start the mower. Once again it surged - strike two. To add insult to injury after mowing for a short period I noticed the grass was not getting cut and no clippings were in the bag. Following a brief inspection I determined the blades were put on upside-down with the top mulching blade at the bottom and the cutting edge on the incorrect side. Strike three; you’re out.

A trained monkey can do basic annual service, oil, filter, spark plug sharpen blade; but being trained they would do it correctly. Sorry if I have offended any trained monkeys in the audience.

Do not take anything to this place, what a rip off.
