American Packaging Machinery, headquartered in Woodstock, Ill., designs and manufactures shrink packaging and shrink bundling machinery. Established in 1992, its heavy-duty machines are intended for three-shift applications in demanding industrial environments. Its systems are designed with standard, off-the-shelf, original equipment manufacturers components to facilitate performance. All research, engineering and manufacturing is done in-house, resulting in regular improvements in design. Its servo drive technology, with a special seal carriage design for high-speed shrink wrappers, raises production speeds by 30 percent and reduces maintenance. American Packaging Machinery engineers provide training programs for installation procedures, system start-up, general maintenance, and mechanical and electrical operations.
