is there a 10 rating? because that's what Leslie and Mark and their staff deserve. I have taken my dogs to them for over 10 yrs. I have highly recommended them to friends with high strung pets, ornery cats, and normal animals - every person who I know who has used them has been impressed with their caring, compassionate and professional handling of their beloved pets. There USED to be other groomers in Woodstock & but they're so goo all the others have folded. The folks at Dogs in Suds truly LOVE animals, LOVE their work, and it shows. On top of that, their prices are more than reasonable, they're a bargain! For the past 8 yrs, they've cared for my EXTREMEMLY thick- coated golden, Fizzy. Granted Fizz is a gentle, patient sweetheart to work with, but her coat is literally so thick and long that it matts easily & takes forever to wash,dry,trim & brush out. In summer we give her a 'puppy cut' and she's adorable! She had many health issues they worked around, too. They took gentle care of my Tristan who was afraid of cages, and when he had cancer. They took great care of my friends long-haired, diabetic cat, when he was old & could no longer groom his long fur. My roommate's frankly psychotic & grouchy little Lhasa/ terrier mix has finally gotten his nails back to a proper length thanks to them. No one else could get near his paws! Kindness and patience are what Dogs In Suds are all about; I won't take my beloved furbabies anywhere else!

Obviously the previous reviewer does not even know Mark & Leslie.. cant even spell the names right LOL. These folks know their business and the pets are treated like little princes & princess'... as to staff (who I believe the previous poster might have been) They are firm about treating pets with gentleness & kindness... I know that they let a staff member go because they yelled at a dog (swore actually.. my friend was there & heard it herself)

Id rather know my pets are treated with individual kindness & gentleness thank you very much... Petsmart? ask if you can see the entire salon? ask if you can go everywhere your pet goes... Mark takes people on a tour of the ENTIRE salon & explains everything... These folks are the best and I recommend everyone I know here.
