Got a quote on my car of 325 if they pick it up and tow it in. I asked if i tow it in myself what would i get for it then. The guy said 400. So i got it towed there. Then they wrote up the offer for 400 and said they needed to look at the car first so i went out there with the guy. And he looked at the engine and looked under the car and then said. It's missing the Catalytic Converter. I can only give you 300 for it. Now if this isn't a bate and switch i don't know what is. To be honest i've sold them 4 other cars all of which they came out and picked them up and never once did they ever look at the engine or underneath the car. So what they apparently did is get you to drive it in yourself or towed in and then check the entire car to find someone to pay you less for it. What was i supposed to do have it towed out of there again. Talk about a scam. They new they could give me whatever for it as i had already towed it there and dropped it. This is the trully a bait and switch. I will only have them tow my cars in themselves from now on. As the original quote for them to pick it up was 325. So it cost me 25 to bring it to them. Luckily i asked if he could still give me at least the 325 that they would of gave me if they picked it up. And he finally said ok to that. wow. Never again

Prices have gone way up and they have little inventory from this decade. Plus whoever answers the phone there these days always has to ask. You're better off to go there and pick the part yourself. Assuming your car is some 1997 antique.

Poor customer service. My husband and i came all the way from Madison WI . We were told to look for a fender and someone would remove it aa we requested. We looked for a fender and was told to come back on Monday.

I read their add and it said "will pick up junk cars"
However when they came to get it the vehicle was missing a seat. They said they only pick up "FULL" cars.
I guess they want to resale them to the sucker public as a driver car...............these people won't stand up to their add

They're the best! Great price and even showed me how to take the part out so that I could put it into my car myself!

Refused to refund credit card for a purchase that was never picked up and they no longer have available. Absolutely fraudulent action. They simply stole money! My credit card company reimbursed me. Stay away!

I am very happy with the service provided by Troy & especially the tow truck driver. I went online & called all the Salvage Co.'s. Route 14 out bid all of them! I really was impressed with the tower, I think he must of thought I was a crazy woman. Big Red was a very reliable vehicle.I was crying like a little girl as the 2 of us cleaned it out. Big Red took me, my daughter & gr.daughter EVERYWHERE almost EVERYDAY for 2 yrs for my daughters cancer treatments. So I loved Big Red & all the memories ... 3 cars seats & off we went. THANKS ROUTE 14 FOR YOUR FINE SERVICE (R.I.P. BIG RED you served me well ... )

Called ahead to ask if they had a specific vehicle part in available. He says, "Yes! We have a couple vehicles like that." After driving from Johnsburg to Woodstock and spending 45 minutes walking around the yard, they had not one of the vehicles I initially called about. Very disappointing. Terrible customer service. Wasted what little time I had left to find the part I needed to finish repairs on a Sunday afternoon. Once you've broken my trust, I never return. Will not recommend to friends or family.

I live very close to Route l4 Auto in Woodstock and I've purchased numerous parts and even bought a topper. they have good prices and they have been great neighbours too. they've helped me with numerous situations at my farm. thanks route l4.
