During the six years that my grandmother lived at Walden Oaks, I personally witnessed maintenance men come directly into her apartment without knocking or announcing themselves. They would then make up some sort of excuse as to why they needed in the apartment. Very unsafe and threatening for an elderly person. The accommodations are dark and dreary with leaks, stains, and foul smells. The parking lot never has any parking and is dimly lit. The most unnerving part of Walden Oaks is the staff. They are callous, unprofessional, uncaring, and ill-equipped. My family and I were horribly mistreated during the days of my grandmother's passing and the days following. I was shocked and dismayed to find people to be rude and unsympathetic. The staff is not qualified to be in property management and certainly not in a place where the eldery reside.
