I worked at Chans as a young teenager over 40 years ago

John's dad Ben was running the show back then. The food was

outstanding then and when I visited Woonsocket the food was

just as good as remembered.I remember the chefs way back then would curse at me in Chinese and teach me such phrases.I would go by years later and through the back door swear at the chefs and they would remember me and load me up with food(sorry John)

I only wish I lived closer to Chans to experience the wonderful experience John has created.

Why is this place still in business???? "Fine Dining" what a joke!! Im sure dog food taste better than this garbage!!!! I ordered Sesame Chicken, it came out with heavy battered chicken fingers, and a dash of sesame sauce. There was at least a quater of an inch of batter, disgusting. There is a place in Lincoln that BLOWS this place away. WILL NEVER WASTE MY MONEY HERE AGAIN!!!!

The food here is great! I have eaten here for lunch and dinner several times. Every time it has been enjoyable. Fast and friendly service.
