The Landmark Medical Center is a nonprofit, full-service health care network that provides health and human services to customers in northern Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The center is a more than 200-bed acute care hospital that provides emergency, diagnostic, medical, surgical, psychiatric, cancer, cardiac and obstetric treatments. Its Critical Care and Progressive Care units provide monitoring of patients recovering from critical illness or surgery. The Landmark Medical Center operates a psychiatric services department, which is an over 15-bed inpatient unit that provides psychiatric treatment for people of various ages.
