My twelve year old son had the unfortunate experience of attending sessions with Tammy Brooks. My son's father was absent in his life for twelve years. Post his third failed marriage and a series of mental issues, he decided to appear back in the area to obtain full custody only to evade paying child support. The father's family attended sessions often lying and crying to her about supposed wrong doings on my part and my family who cared for the child in the twelve years of his absence. She was one sided, believed complete lies and appeared in court on their behalf. Her account of my son was horrifyingly misguided and unfounded. Tammy Brooks was informed via my minor son that his father on two occasions was having sex with his girlfriend, 16 years his junior, with our son in the house and made zero effort to assist our son on what he had witnessed. Swept under the rug!!! Long story short, I was sans attorney against this supposed educated, experienced person with no moral compass. The judge almost awarded my ex custody based on her notes. The father doesn't even see our son his awarded time via the courts, remarried a 24 year old (fourth wife) and isn't assisting our son financially on any level. He has also shared with our son he is having marital issues and can't see him because of it! Absolutely terrifying someone can waltz in, shed crocodile tears and have someone like her believe them and attend court for custody based on one side! Do not send your child/children to this entity, or person!! Do your research. There are better options.
