My Mom was moved to assisted living so I had to close up the house. Mom had been a nurse and wore uniforms so when she was not working she loved to buy clothes. She also was great at decorating the house. She had all matching bedding and curtains in the four bedrooms, which she changed each season.
To say there were a lot of textiles and clothing to donate is an under statement.
I was going to call the trash man when one of my friends mentioned Mint Green Planet as a local recycler which helps the Boys and Girls Clubs. I called Mike and he arranged for his truck to pick up the clothes. The driver, John, even helped fill the bags of which there were about 50.
Then a few weeks later we tackled the attic which also had clothing and textiles. John returned with coffee for the family and filled many more bags.
We were so happy to help the Club and be rid of these clothes without having to pay for a dumpster.
Mike and the staff were life savers. We got such a big job done in record time. It was a WIN, WIN all the way around.
I would highly recommend them for house clean outs of clothing and textiles.
