Went tanning for the first time in years at Anita Tan. The salon is clean but that is the only thing positive I have to say about it. I went tanning there on a Sunday. Today is Thursday and I am still burnt bad! The person working the counter was new (which I didn't find out until later) and didn't really know the products. I asked her many times how long I should tan for since I have not used a tanning salon in years. She said I would be ok for 12 minutes. Trusting that she knew what she was talking about I followed her suggestion. I honestly have never felt so much pain and discomfort from a burn before in my life. I just wanted to even out some tan line since I am in a wedding and am thankful I went a week before the wedding so my skin had time to heal. I purchased the smallest package that they offered and now will never use my other visits. I called the salon and complained about the inexperience of the person working that day. I was told the owner would call me back but I never got a call back. I know they say tan at your own risk but you would think the people working there would be educated on the services they offer to properly tell you how long you should stay in for. I don't blame the person working that day...I blame the salon who obviously does not train their staff properly!



I am not a person that writes reviews for businesses but the fact that I never got a call back and was told they have no refund policy and was pretty much out of luck prompted me to write this!
