This is one of the BEST Italia...

This is one of the BEST Italian restaurants that I've ever been to...especially in the downriver area. It's small, quaint, private and the staff makes you feel at home. It's by no means stuffy. You can come as you are, and if you go on a regular basis, they try and remember your name. There is definitely an Italian ambiance to this restaurant from the music they play, to the décor. When I lived in the area, our family would go there all the time... I've since moved to Colorado, and every time we're back home to visit, Gregorio's is on our list of places to eat. If we go no where else..we ALWAYS go to Gregorio's. I'm flying home for a class reunion tomorrow, and I'm going there tomorrow night for dinner. And as far as the staff saying YOU GUYS ..they knew you weren't a guy. Really? You have never heard that expression before??? Like I stated above, they are very relaxed and friendly, and make you feel at home. If you like the quaintness of a small Italian restaurant with actual tablecloths and linen napkins, opposed to the chain restaurants...go here! :)

Pinot not

Are you kidding me. To comment on food is what this is for not to comment on grammar. Maybe you should become an English teacher and not a food critic.

A mix of good and generic

A small place with the usual italian dishes. I expected the roasted garlic pasta to have FRESHLY roasted garlic, not something scooped out from a jar.

The bread and meatballs are very good. I also enjoyed the calamari.

They do not have a beer/wine license, so if you want a chianti to go with your pasta, forget it.

The most annoying thing about this place was that every employee referred to my boyfriend and me (female) as "guys".

"Thanks, guys."

"Can I get this out of your guys' way?"

"Ok, guys."

The last time I looked down, I surely did not transform in to a man.

Note to Gregorio's: Just say "you" or nothing at all. It was annoying the first time, but after the fifth I almost said something.

"Thank you" is just fine; no "guys" needed.
