Provided by YP.comBoth rocker moldings were damaged by a local tire service company. They requested I obtain two estimates to replace the broken moldings. The first repair shop I went to gladly wrote me an estimate and confirmed both rocker moldings were obviously broken and needed to be replaced. When I went to state wide The man behind the counter came out to my car looked at it and said that it's just the clips that are broken and refused to simply bend over and move the molding a way to see the molding was broken from behind . I went back out and literally took the broken piece that was flopping around in the molding to show him and he became confrontational. He refused to write an estimate unless he removed the moldings to inspect. I was trying to explain that the part was clearly broken if he would just look and he told me he doesn't need to look. At which point I think I won the screaming match between the two of us. Do not go to this place for an estimate Repair, or any other type of service. Not very helpful and rude.

Provided by YP.comI looked at at least five different places and decided on statewide after talking to the owner. I had body work and painting that had to be done on my car.. It turned out really well, good job and good price.

Provided by YP.comWhen it comes to collision repair, I always dread having to get my car fixed. Especially when my husband got laid off and I was in a car accident. My insurance company directed me to a body shop on Eureka in Wyandotte, and I hoped for the best when i went there to have them fix my car. I explained my situation to them and asked if they could help with the deductible, considering my husband was out of work and we were getting hardly any income. The owner said they couldnt do anything to help me. I was extremely upset, until one of my friends told me about a body shop on Fort St named Statewide Collision. They said they had a great experience there, and to try them out. So, I went there and spoke to the owner. I asked him if there was anything he could do to help me - and he said most definitely, there was. He said he would take 250 off my deductible, and he even helped me get into a loaner car. He said if there was anything else he could do to let him know and that he would try his best. Not only will my husband and I use statewide collision if we ever are in need of car repair again, but we will be sure to tell all of our friends about it as well!
