Provided by YPmobile. I stopped in here for a cellphone charger, a water, and an OTC skin cream that was recommended by my dermatologist. When I go to pay the clerk comes out of the back and refuses to ring me up and says he is not allowed to sell me anything.
Yes the clerk at a 24 hour CVS said he was only allowed to sell prescriptions When I told him that the OTC skin cream was recommended by my doctor he asked to see the RX. When I told him I did not have one he said he could not sell it to me. When I asked to see the pharmacist, she just happened to be in the bathroom and after about 5 minutes of waiting I left without my purchases. To make matters worse I filed a complaint with corporate and the district manager Mr. Patel made up some BS about it being against the law to sell anything besides Rx after midnight.
Odd because the Walgreens less than a mile up the road was open and more than happy to sell me what I needed. I asked my BIL who is NJSP, he told me the only thing he could think of with a time limit is alcohol. Also my cousin who happened to be a CVS Pharmacist said there was nothing in the cream that I need a RX for and that the clerk violated policy by telling me I did need a RX for it. NEVER SHOPPING AT CVS AGAIN

Provided by YP.comThis place discriminates. I was stopping in around 1:50 am one day between assignments as it was the only place open. The two white clerks refused to ring me up for a bag and pretzels and a Coke. They said it was illegal for them to ring me up for my purchases after 1. Despite a white person being able to purchase his items. Being a black man in a town like Wyckoff I didn't feel like arguing. I got nowhere with CVS corporate. So then I called the number on the anti discrimination poster in the store. The lady I spoke with at the AG's office in Patterson informed me that there was no law that would have prevented the store from selling me these items. I have since filed a formal complaint against CVS.

Provided by YP.comIt is amazing that this place is still in bussiness. I went in there to buy some houshold stuff i needed when it was fresh on my mind. I grabbed what i needed and went to the pharmacy to pay. the 2 associates instructed the pharmasist not to ring me up because it was after 2 am. After arguing and speaking to the night manager i left without my purchases. I ended up going to wallgreens where they were more than happy to sell me the products i needed. The next day I spoke to my brother who is a sworn police officer in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and cleint of mine who is a municipal court judge. They both said the law ONLY applies to alcoholic beverages. I spoke with the GM Janet who defended her associates. I have taken this up with corprate managment
