My husband contacted Son Shine Daycare on the week of March 2nd and left a message regarding visiting the facility for a tour to possibly enroll our 1 year old daughter. After a week of not receiving a returned call, I followed up on March 10th . A very rude Ken (the daycare director) answered the telephone. I did not even have the opportunity to get through my first sentence before he began rushing me to finish. Realizing that this person was far from professional and that this behavior was likely a reflection of what we would experience if we went any further with the process; I thanked him for his time and told him goodbye. Under his bio on the church daycare website, he explains that he creates an environment with “caring nurturing teachers and a Christ-centered environment.”….I have a very hard time believing that. Very glad we dodged a potentially horrible situation.
