For those of you considering this service who are uniformed, be prepared to show in regulation where your patches should be.



My experience was, I directed exactly what I needed and the directions were not followed.



On picking-up my uniforms, I pointed-out that things were not as they should be.



'You must be mistaken, I went according to regulation,' was the reply.



I gave it one more go, having some other patches sewn-on a different uniform: pow!! Patches off by half-an-inch. Again.



On a positive note, I took a pair of pants in to have them taken up and they do look pretty great.



I wasn't happy about the add-ons 'Lemme take it up in the back and how does the crotch feel for you,' but the pants do look very good.



If you're elitist and expect the best service (like I do), you're gonna want to go somewhere else.



What I'd offer the owner is: if someone asks you to do something a certain way, don't set them straight on things, just do what they're asking.



And add-on's will cost you clients.



I give this service One Star because I'm $45 dollars down and still at square one. And my uniforms look like I don't take my job seriously.



I did call to notify one of the owners of the discrepancies and to her credit, she offered me my money back.



The comment of 'I've been doing this for 30 years' doesn't correct things, nor does it reimburse my time and mileage.

I would definately recommend going here. I had a bridesmaid dress altered here and they were great! The prices were very reasonable, much cheaper than other places I called. they origionally told me it would take a week, but since they were not busy that week, they finished my alterations in 3 days, a rush order without the charge. also, i went in expecting to have the hem taken up and they told me there was no need for it. most places would have charged me anyways and barely taken it up as to justify charging me $40. Both women went out of thier way to be kind and ensure my happiness with the end product. it is a bargain for great work!!
