Our sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons are fellowship trained in sports medicine. They are joined by highly skilled physical therapists with special training in sports medicine and the latest tools and techniques to speed your recovery. For more than 15 years, our experienced staff has taken a team approach to caring for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Because our services are integrated, we can get you in quickly and back to your activities sooner. Plus, we make it easy on you by offering care in 5 of our neighborhood physician offices and new Metro Health Sports Medicine Center in the Spartan Stores YMCA Call the medical team the trainers call Metro Health Sports Medicine is proud to be the official medical provider for the Grand Rapids Griffins, The Fifth Third River Bank Run, Metro Health Grand Rapids Marathon, Bank of America Reeds Lake Run, Meijer State Games, as well as numerous other college and high school teams and sporting events. Saturday Services We also make it easy for athletes to get the care they need by being open on Saturday mornings during the fall athletic season to evaluate and treat sports injuries.
