Excellent food and service. Great prices too!

You can't complain. Everything my wife and I experienced was great. People complaining about getting better pizza somewhere else is hilarious. Every restaurant has a different "flavor". Stop and enjoy the differences and your dining experience will be improved. As for the person complaining about her baby being charged $4.99. Think about having to change your baby's diaper. You are using their facilities. Stop and think about the cost of doing business and quibaling over $5 bucks? The quality of the food is way above average. The atmosphere is also way above average. They have a very good selection of craft beers that are on a rotation of new beers. So, the beers selections can change weekly. All in all I think it's a great addition to Portage.

I like Monelli's food and atmosphere a lot. However, my issue is that their lunch buffet is $8.99 and they charged my 14 month old son an extra $4.99 to eat off my plate. There are other nice lunch buffets in the area that are cheaper, and do not charge kids 2 and under to eat. So I will stick with Monelli's only for a few beers/appetizers when a good sports game is on!

The service was slow, and the pizza wasn't that great at all. Peppinos and some Dominos have tasted better. I was expecting real, authentic Italian pizza, and I've had that kind of pizza. Vitalies in Hudsonville is closer to real pizza.

This was our first time going here and it was worth it. I'd recommend it highly!
