Those it serves own the Claverack REC. Electricity is purchased from Allegheny Electric Cooperative, a generation and transmission cooperative for all 13 rural electric cooperatives in Pennsylvania and one in New Jersey. Power is delivered to 20 substations owned by Claverack. As the cooperative grows, system capacity increases to meet the requirements of the member.
