nursing(rns, lpns, techs), physical therapy, occupational therapy, maintenance, house keeping, dining staff and activites staff are excellent. social worker and dietician need work. equipment needs work also. doctor staff needs a wake up call

equipment: beds not comfortable, showers too small and shower heads broken. toilets stopping up alot.

the dietician needs to plan meals for diabetic patients. food is good tasting, but causes diabetic patients blood sugar to rise resulting in high blood sugar reports.

the social worker, although polite, didnt do a very good job in handling my discharge matters.

the doctor of this facility has too much on her plate. she cannot handle the many patients of 2 nursing facilities as well as her own practice too. my meds were all messed up. plus when i reported mishaps such as a back ache, she ordered mte a chest exray. my nuerotin meds were issued too low of a strength, (came to nursing home with 800 mg a day and got 300 mg. received allergy meds even though i didnt have any allergies.

this facility should receive an easy 5 star rating, but the areas mentioned above are holding them down. i speak for the many elder patients who cannot speak. im sure they have it tough as well. i thank the staffs that helped me to get to the condition that i am in today. but there is alot of improvement needed by the staff mentioned in a negative way. also, their physian assistant needs to be able to do more than just listen to breathing and heart beats.
