The Xenia Police Division preserves human lives and property, protects public peace and the rights of citizens, prevents crime and disorder, and enforces local, state and federal laws. It operates a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team that specializes in bomb disposal and hostage and barricaded gunman situations. Located in Xenia, Ohio, the Xenia Police Division maintains the Internet Child Protection Unit, which prevents the usage of the Internet as a means for child sexual exploitation.
