My car broke down at Bumping Lake, 60 miles from Yakima, on a Sunday, four hours drive from my home. Dennis, the owner of Hinds Towing, came out and picked me up, drove me to the Yakima Best Western, dropped my car in the parking lot so I'd have access to my belongings, and came back the next morning to pick up my car and take it to his personal mechanic. Charged me the normal mileage rate (no weekend markup) which only started from the time he picked up my car.This misadventure could have been much worse. Dennis is an honest man, running an honest business.

Thieves:My car, a Dodge Durango was towed by the police with Hinds Towing. When they took the car there was a Pioneer stereo, four speakers, an amplifier under the driver's seat, and a subwoofer. There was a wallet with identification and discs and a 16 gigabyte flash drive. They stole everything. The manager believed that the vehicle was being towed because the driver was being extradited to California. Not so. When the vehicle was picked up three days later, all the items were gone. Don't use this place.
