Founded in 1948, Living Care Retirement Community is a nonprofit, Christian-based, nondenominational community that provides a variety of housing, care and services for senior citizens. The community maintains more than 200 independent and assisted living apartments and an over 75 beds nursing center. Its apartments in-room amenities include kitchenettes, baths with tubs, televisions, closets and emergency call systems. The community offers nursing, health care monitoring, transportation, housekeeping, laundry and medication review services, as well as rehabilitation, recreational and educational programs. Its village center has fitness and spa facility and an auditorium that can accommodate up to 100 individuals. Living Care Retirement Community maintains a location in Yakima, Wash.
