I wish there were a way I could put ZERO stars because this is the rate this school deserves. Website price is different the actual price. The course is not 6 weeks but rather drags out for months and months beyond the 6 weeks that is falsely advertised. Steve does not have a 100% success rate, in fact, far from it. About 1 in 3 children graduate from his class without incident, yet have to witness his temper and negative attitude. At least 1 out of 5 children dropped the class during my child's training course with them. BTW, this has nothing to do with how well a student drives either. My child witnesses several altercations with parents during this time. Also, he knows two teen girls who quit the class claiming Steve made inappropriate remarks to them, while alone with them in his training car. It must have been pretty bad for teens to not want to finish their training over. I can only guess?

Steve and Heather Kulin, are the owners of Yakima Driving School as well as the now defunct A Driving School Inc. in Vancouver, Washington. Please google this information. It turns out Steve Kulin's license to practice was suspended and or revoked in the country of Vancouver. He still lives in Vancouver with his wife and children, however decided to use Yakima County as his new grifting ground.

To the good people of Yakima, be very aware before making the costly and time consuming decision of placing your precious child into this mans hands. He is verbally abusive, demeaning, arrogant, inappropriate, sexist, all this on top of being a criminal.

After his license to teach and practice drivers training was revoked in Vancouver, he packed up shop without returning any monies to the students or their parents, during a class that had not finished yet. He also did not send out any of the certificates of completion to the class that had just graduated. Without this, the kids could not get their license. When confronted, he became verbally confrontational, name calling, and threatened many parents who pleaded with him to please give their children what they had earned, as well as paid for.

Now in Yakima, Steve and his wife are doing the same thing. Not allowing several children to completing the course, not giving them their credentials, fighting with their parents, avoiding phone calls to the people they owe, demeaning parents in front of full classes, demeaning students behind their back to their peers. This man is very immature, hard to deal with, and aggressive. He acts kind and folksy until after he gets your money. So be fully aware of his actions, please do your homework on google, then spread the news, as this is the only way to make sure this stops.
