The owner is rude and dishonest, the place is dirty, and a one star rating is being generous. I had two rooms at this hotel. I left without checking out, however, my other employees went to the desk and turned in their keycards. She charged me for an extra day for not just my room, but both rooms, because I forgot to stop by the desk in the morning and tell her that I was leaving. I was willing to pay the additional day for my room but she charged me for both rooms despite the fact that my employees had turned in their keycards and I called her later in the day to let her know I was not returning. Even after I returned the next week and stayed an additional four days, she refused to refund the additional charges for the second room. I will be doing more business in Yankton, but not with this hotel. Go to the Hampton Inn, same cost, much cleaner, and much nicer people.
