I have two children at the center. The teachers are caring and organized. The teachers always seem excited to see my daughters. The facility is beautiful. The directors are friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the Wii being on in the morning before school. I spoke with the director and it was resolved.

First of all the teachers are great, very caring and loving towards the children. MOST appear happy to work there but the staff turnover since we have been there is moderate. Payment over the last year was an issue. We always paid what I was told to but it would get messed up often. With that being said the owner has always very understanding to work with parents when it was their error but I would not have expected it to be a challenge for an established business. On the plus side the facility is beautiful in design and very appealing to the children and parents. I would like to see the kids noses wiped more often during sick season. The main complaint we have had is that they recently started following the yelm school district weather guidelines. The other day they opened late 2 hrs. without any communication to the parents. There was no ice or snow on the ground or my car so it was VERY frustrating. The schools anticipated bad weather conditions that day and expected to see worse weather conditions in the more rural areas of Yelm so they sent out the message that they would be having a 2 hr. late start that day. With the daycare's following the schools they also had a 2 hr. late start and honestly that is ridiculous. The communication to inform parents is not there. I do understand the importance of safety but I don't have the luxury of a 2 hr. late start with my job so it has caused a pretty significant concern with continuing with this daycare for our family. Although it is a more colder winter than usual for us the daycare has already initiated a 2 hr. late start 2-3 X so far this winter and they canceled one day completely. In my opinion it is not ok. If there are bad weather conditions leave earlier to work and plan accordingly like the rest of us have to do. With that being said I would still give the daycare an overall rating of 4 stars because we are very happy with the teachers and our child truly appears to be very happy and comfortable there.
