I went to see The Conjuring on 7/26/13 and the staff at the front counters were absolutely rude. We had a group of six people and 3 different people paying for different things when the staff began to talk about the size of one of my nieces and a friend of hers In FRONT of them. The theatre itself was tiny. The Seats Were TO SMALL and when people would talk and we went to the front nothing was done about overall I will never be back to this place

I would like to comment on Yelm Cinemas At Prairie Park as being a great place to see a movie. My experience has always been pleasant and they have a real personal intimate feel to the movie experience. I have always received nothing but the best service and utmost respect. I would say to the person who left the previous comment that it takes respect to get respect.

THEATER ALLOWS EMPLOYEES TO SLAP PATRONS!!!

Ok, first of all, this theater does not even deserve a star, to be honest! I was just visiting from the East Coast and decided to see a chick flick. We were immediately stopped by an employee, whom was asking us to see our tickets. She noticed we had a backpack style purse ( YES, a PURSE ), and told us that we cannot bring backpack style purses in the theater. She asked to see inside and saw we had a small water bottle inside. Then she said," you can't bring in any water in". We then told her we were hypoglycemic and we need water for medical reasons, she still said that we could not proceed. Then I suggested we pour the water out and get more from their OWN fountain, she said, "NOPE, no containers of any kind, no!" So, we said that is ridicules and she then began, what looked like a hockey goalie blocking the puck on us ( she was a 65 year old trailer blocking our every step ), we said, alright this is enough we want our money back, since you are being so hostile. On the way out the door this woman took her left arm and slapped my right cheek, so I removed her arm and told her not to EVER touch/hurt me. She gave a nasty look and refused to say sorry. WE DEMANDED to speak to the manager, whom came out asking us , "WHAT", as in what do you want from me. She was obviously a minimum wage paid type manager whom actually admitted to me that even for medicinal purposes we will still have to purchase their food, because they don't make any money on the sales on their tickets. We told her that she will loose many customers and she replied, "SO!". Well, pretty soon we won't be able to arrive at the movies wearing clothing. I called the general manager whom admitted they got sued for not allowing a gentleman to bring in his insulin for diabetes. WTF, right??? Anyways, congrats Yelm Cinemas on your upcoming bankruptcy.
