Tanglewood is one of the few remaining delis in Yonkers that truly does it right. This deli offers a plethora of Italian dishes along with outstanding breakfast sandwiches. I would recommend the hobo (no meat) or the hobo deluxe. In addition, the catering is very good and affordable.



In regards to the staff, the owners are the most hard-working and diligent you will encounter and truly personify what it takes to be a small business. The mantra "The customer is always right" is given the utmost attention at this store.



The few negative comments below must reflect some personal grievances considering they are baseless and without merit. If you don't want to support a thriving small business you can go elsewhere (including Subway). A simple economics lesson to the individual below. You pay a little more for quality.

Yeah they have good subs if they weren't way over priced. I'd rather go to subway for more options ans BETTER service.Always rude when I come in to the deli and my brother just was hung up on four times in a row while placing an order for pick up because his hungry kids were yelling in the car. Terrible service.

Slowest service in town, especially the old man cashier. He has no personality and is downright nasty to customers. Wonder if he realizes there are plenty of other places to buy a sandwhich for a much cheaper price from people who are considerate to their patrons. Workers are disgruntled owners who are naturally rude and rarely get orders correct. And as for the food being homemade... You should see where it all truly starts.
