I have been to a couple different practices in the greater NYC area and this was by far my best experience! The staff friendliness and professionalism, lack of wait time, cleanliness of the facility, and quality dental care were exceptional and I will definitely return for my check-ups in the future.



No wait time: I have had to wait at other practices, but at Westchester Family Dentistry, there was no wait.



Friendliness and Professionalism of Staff Members: The staff members working in the reception area were very friendly and supported me in figuring out my insurance as I had forgotten my insurance card. They called my husband to get my insurance information, called the insurance company to verify the information, and were patient with me. At the end of my visit, they made sure I had a "gift-pack" with a toothbrush, coupons for dental care items, etc. Finally, they personally greeted me upon arrival and gave me a personal farewell upon departure.



Cleanliness of Facility: While the building is a bit older, the office was significantly well-taken care of, clean, and had beautiful, unique art work on the walls. Also, there were "high-tech" additions, such as ipads to watch while having your teeth cleaned and all dental records saved via computer. Furthermore, my x-rays were also saved and viewed via computer in "real-time."



Quality of Dental Care: I had been worried that a filling had fallen out, which was the main purpose for my visit besides a cleaning. Dr. Shih verified the status of all my fillings, as a new patient in their clinic, and did a thorough cleaning. He also gave me advice about what to expect for my dental care needs as I will soon be living abroad and steps I could take for preventative dental care as I will only have annual access for dental check-ups vs. biannual access. Thus, the professionalism, quality of care, and extra advice provided exceeded my dental needs at this time and contributed to an overall exceptional visit.



I would recommend Westchester Family Dentistry to anyone seeking personal, quality-care from friendly staff members and dentists in a clean, well-maintained facility.
