Stopped by to sell some gold earrings the other day. Been going here and sending my fellow nurses here for years. They pay out the most with a smile. Also my husband is a teacher and he says the same. Have a beautiful day.

My sister and I went to many gold places as we wanted to sell our jewelry. We got many offers but luckily a friend recommended Westchester Jewelry and Coins as she said she had sold her stuff there. Anyway $610 more later between the two of us is what we received. Nice cheerful store, people too.

I also brought two gold kugerands, each 1oz of pure gold. He offered me $1500 for each coin, which I felt was reasonable, a 7.5% commission to him. I felt this was reasonable. However, his prices for scrap 14kt jewelry are AWEFUL. He is shady about telling you what he is paying, he claims he doesn't know how much the gold weighed (in ANY measure, grams, oz or pennyweight) and he didn't know how much per pennyweight he was paying, only that his scale gave him a dollar figure. This is a blatant lie, Every gold dealer knows exactly what they are paying. My scrap was 14kt weighed 72g, 2.315 oz, 46.29 pennyweight. 14kt is 0.583% pure. His first offer was $1300 for the lot, if you do the math, this comes to $878 per oz for the pure gold contained in that scrap. HALF the current market price of gold. Thats a HUGH mark up. by the time I was about to leave with my gold it had increased to $1500, still 40% profit to whoever refines the gold. He may not be as big a crook as other people, but he's still a crook. If you have more than 1/2 oz and the time to shop around, you can do much better. I eventually sold the scrap for $1875 in NYC. Considering this guys first offer was $1300- it was worth my time.

Mom and I took grandma to this store after trying another place. To our surprise this store is registered with Consumer Affairs. Grandma sold her old gold charm bracelet and some other gold trinkets. We received $261 more than the first place offered us. We left very happy. Three generations would definitely recommend this place.

this was the fifth place that i went to and by far the price was the highest that i had been offfered. the guy that helped me was very pleasant, explained everything to me and answerd all of my questions. the lady that works there is very helpful also and i defintely will recommend this place to all of my friends.
