I would love to give this place 5 stars; however, I have one major complaint that diminishes my overall experience every time I visit. My stylist started working here in early 2020 and I followed her because she has been cutting my hair for over 25 years. First, the salon was recently remodeled and it turned out really nice. Second, it’s always clean and the staff has done a great job of sanitizing the stations after each use. Third, the staff and other stylists are super friendly. Now here is my complaint, the wash bowl station is simply not comfortable or suitable for all clients. As someone who has chronic back and neck pain, laying flat in a bed with very little back support vs a reclining chair is excruciatingly painful. Additionally, the position forces the client to support their own head while the hair is being washed or rinsed. Again this is extremely painful. It would be nice if the owner would offer one of the stations with the traditional reclining chair instead of the bed. I feel after visit to the salon I leave in a tight pretzel and one giant knot of back pain that takes days for me to recover.
