Provided by YP.comThey are awesome! I have been boarding my dogs there for many years and they always took great care of them. My dogs are big and not the easiest, and it was not a problem. They even medicated one of the dogs for the stay and did not charge extra as most places would. Kennels were always clean and the dogs did well. Staff is competent and professional. Love them!

Provided by YP.comAs one other reviewer stated, Locust Run is definitely for those who have "just a dog". The last, and only, time I boarded at Locust Run they were kind enough to keep my two greyhounds in the same kennel, which I certainly appreciated, as they are close to one another. However, I was appalled at the conditions they were in when I picked them up. It had rained and their beds were soaking wet and smelled terrible. My dogs were also wet and smelly as if they had been in the rain all night. Neither of them had eaten their food (which is very rare for my chow hounds!) and appeared to be traumatized by the extensive amount of loud incessant barking that could be heard. Here are my Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Cheap.
- If you need to board at the last minute, they will most likely be able to fit you in
Con:
- Stones in the runs are extremely hard on dogs feet.
- Interior of Kennels appear to be exposed to the elements, allowing for rain and bugs to enter
- Staff did not appear to be warm and friendly and barely even glanced at my dogs
- Loud, Loud Loud!! The number of kennels makes for a very loud environment, and could be detrimental to some dogs.
- Kennel is dark and dungeon-like. Jut not warm and friendly atmosphere for my babies.
My dogs were alive and safe for the night, which is a big Pro, but this is not a place I would put them unless I had no other choice.

DO NOT BOARD HERE: I'll never take my dogs there again. My puppy had a huge gash on her leg when I picked her up. $700 dollar emergency visit. My blog post, with pictures, here: http://squillacescribbles.blogspot.com/

I love this kennel. They allow you to take your dog to it's kennel along with its bed, food etc. They have air condition and heat and a big enough dog run for them to get exercise. You can pick up or drop off your animal on every day of the week. I am very pleased with this establishment and their staff!
